Who are Delzo Active

Hi, I'm Tanya Delzotto, a qualified personal trainer and owner/operator of Delzo Active, a small fitness business based in Newcastle. My passion is to bring joy and real social connections back, through fitness and wellbeing weekend retreats. At Delzo Active, we believe in the power of wellness escapes to rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul. Our small group weekends take place in beautiful locations close to Newcastle, and are designed to help you connect with others, move your body, and nourish yourself with delicious meals. As your host and trainer, I will guide you through fitness classes and outdoor activities, all designed to help you recharge and have some fun along the way.

Your Retreat Experience


Our weekend escapes daily program offers a range of activities to suit every fitness level. Whether you are new to exercise or exercise daily, PT Tanya is there every step of the way to guide you. From tai chi to stretch to boxing to hiking, we have lots of options over the weekend. And, our welcoming and  supportive community are there with you.

There is nothing better than connecting with like minded individuals, who enjoy moving their body, exploring new places and having a good laugh. Join a weekend escape by yourself or with a friend, family member or partner, either way you will meet a bunch of new friends and have lots of fun over the weekend. Get ready to laugh!


At every weekend escape, our personal chef, is a machine in the kitchen, catering to all dietary requirements. Fresh and healthy food for every meal, you won't have to worry about a thing. Just sit back and relax and enjoy being treated with special nourishing meals while you're away for the weekend.

We take the time to research and seek out beautiful accommodation in natural and tranquil locations for every weekend escape. Our priority is to ensure everyone is comfortable, and can completely relax. Each property offers different experiences, but rest assured, you will not be disappointed!
