Hi! I am Tanya Delzotto, owner and operator of Delzo Active; an outdoor fitness and small group personal training service based in Sydney. The most exciting part of my business has been the expansion into Delzo Active Escapes; these are wellness retreats, with the option of either a weekend escape within 2-3 hours from Sydney or a day escape in the heart of the city. My passion for travel, health, wellness, fitness and generally looking after myself has always been at the forefront. I hope to inspire and motivate others to get out there and make the most of their amazing body and the beautiful outdoors we are blessed with.
Back in 2010, after having worked at a desk doing graphic design for over 10 years and feeling the effects on my body from sitting at a desk all day I knew I needed to make a change in my career. After seeking guidance from a career councillor and looking at my personality type and what would best suit me, it kept coming back to the personal care industry. It has been a long journey, but also an amazing and rewarding process to where I am today. I am now working in an area I am meant to be in and I love my job!

I have had my fair share of injuries and challenges in the past that has limited my movement and exercise regime, but not once have I stopped! It’s all about getting over that mental hurdle and finding something you love and keeps you motivated. We can always adapt exercises to our body and/or limitations, so never let that hold you back. And find something that you love to do, for me that is pilates, general strength/conditioning training and boxing.
My passion for helping others, fitness, bringing people together, travel and creating balance, means I can apply this to all facets of my job as a trainer and through Delzo Active Escapes. I love being able to take people out of their busy daily lives and provide them time to recharge, rethink and restore balance, through outdoor fitness, experiencing new things and connecting with others.
